ProtoLink contributed a web-based service provider directory to a consumer oriented e-business.
The web application was implemented using Microsoft’s ASP. ADO served as the data access mechanism between the ASP and Microsoft SQL Server, which played the role of back-end database. All significant computation was performed within ProtoLink-developed stored procedures running on SQL Server.
This project demonstrates the feasibility of successful collaboration between remotely located, web-development teams. ProtoLink engineers based in the Dallas area worked in concert with a team based in San Francisco to seamlessly integrate the provider directory into the overall application.
